I have extensive knowledge and expertise in the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, and a wide range of other psychiatric disorders. I have a particular interest in women's mental health issues, including perinatal and postpartum mental health disorders. I work collaboratively with clients in developing a treatment plan focused on target symptoms, in a pressure-free environment.
I regularly collaborate with other clinicians to provide optimal care, including therapists, primary care clinicians, and other medical specialists. I take a multi-faceted approach to client care, including education, collaboration, nutrition, exercise, and a focus on the "whole person" in order to help clients improve their lives and achieve their goals.
I am a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with more than 10 years of psychiatric nursing experience, primarily in outpatient settings, but also in hospital inpatient and emergency services settings. I am Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
