I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at North Shore Psychiatric Consultants. I am a graduate of Stony Brook School of Nursing. I am an Associate Memberof The American Society for Psychopharmacology. It has been my passion and pleasure to have worked in the field of Psychiatry and Mental Health since 1982. I’ve worked in private and community hospitals doing general psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, eating disorders, emergency psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry. It will equally be my pleasure to work in a mutual patient-provider driven plan of care to develop optimal overall health and quality of life.
My practice is based upon a mutual approach to care. I view the whole person, not just the emotional side but rather mind, body and spirit. I can offer mindfulness, relaxation techniques and an overall wellness plan.
