Aloha. I’m Dr. Caroline Ritson, a board-certified psychiatrist born and raised in Hawai‘i. I completed medical school and my psychiatry residency through the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine, and it's an honor to continue caring for the community that shaped me. My approach is integrative, combining evidence-informed medicine with careful consideration of lifestyle, physiology, and the deeper factors that influence mental health. I take time to understand each person’s story—their unique experiences, their needs, and what may be contributing to their struggles beneath the surface.

As an integrative psychiatrist, I aim to explore the root causes of your concerns and offer a personalized treatment plan. I prescribe medication thoughtfully, with attention to biological and nutritional factors. Most visits incorporate therapy and lifestyle-based approaches within a flexible, supportive style.
