I've been a physician assistant for 21+ years, and specialize in child, adolescent, and adult mental health care. I enjoy helping individuals work through depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, postpartum depression, sleep disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and grief/loss as well as learning and attention disorders.
I stay current on areas of expertise and the latest treatments in mental health, in order to provide the best patient care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, grown children, and grandchildren. I also love traveling, working on family history, reading, and watching my children perform in fine arts.
I am passionate about providing care to my patients and advocate improving mental health with medication combined with exercise, nutrition, meditation, and therapy. I also have a passion for helping individuals and am devoted to showing others how to work through emotions to find greater inner happiness and peace.
I strive to create a nonjudgmental, warm & empathetic environment where individuals feel comfortable voicing their struggles, working through challenges and transitions together, and finding avenues for support. I prefer to work in partnership with my patients, helping you understand your health, wellness, and medication management needs.
