Carol Anne Marchetti, PhD, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP) and Clinical Professor at Northeastern University, Bouvé College of Health Sciences School of Nursing. She earned Bachelor's degrees in Management/Marketing, and Nursing, from UMass Boston; and received a master's degree, post-graduate teaching certificate, and PhD from Boston College. She completed post-graduate fellowships through Harvard Vanguard and the Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis.
Along with broad and diverse training as a PMHNP, Carol is a seasoned registered nurse who has worked on neonatal and pediatric intensive care units; in-patient and out-patient psychiatric units; and as a sexual assault nurse examiner.
She is the former president and current Massachusetts representative of the New England Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and she serves as a Massachusetts Department of Public Health Rehabilitation Evaluation Committee Member for the Unified Recovery and Monitoring Program.
