I serve children, adolescents and adults who are in need of appropriate diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. I am able to prescribe medication when indicated, yet make this decision in the context of an evaluation of psychological, social, spiritual and familial circumstances. I strive to provide a compassionate, safe space for those seeking my care.
I am board certified in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry and have been practicing for more than twenty years. I have been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I am fluent in Spanish and speak some German. I have worked extensively with immigrant populations. I am an ordained Lutheran pastor and can address spiritual concerns as needed.
