Hi! I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and have been practicing since 2020. Prior to that I graduated in 2013 as a Family Nurse Practitioner from VCU, and worked for over 6 years in Wound Healing. I use medication management to help adults manage mental health issues and disorders but I believe medications work best as part of a comprehensive approach to Mental Health Recovery.
In our first session: we will introduce ourselves and find out your main concern. We will gather some background information that will help me to understand where you are coming from. I like to find out about what has helped or not helped in the past and I welcome any questions you might have.
I love to hear your story, I like to ask more questions so that I understand what is important, I have empathy and I don't give up.
