I believe one of the bravest things a person can do is be vulnerable enough to share their story. Especially when you don’t feel well, calling a doctor can be tremendously difficult. I promise I’m here to listen respectfully to your experience. I aim to provide a safe and collaborative therapeutic space as I join you on your healing journey. My approach is grounded in relational supportive counseling and mindfulness. I can assist you in coming into deeper awareness about core beliefs and ways of being, and help you discover yourself as you face the existential quandaries in your life.
Since completing my doctoral training at Oregon Health & Science University, I have worked predominantly in community psychiatry and crisis settings. I have a broad and general experience treating most mental health conditions. My goal is to help clients clear anxiety and self doubt.
I am particularly interested in assisting individuals navigate cross-cultural dynamics in their lives and relationships. As a licensed prescriber, I know that medication can also be an avenue toward healing. Together, we can explore whether medication will add to our therapeutic work. I hope you will give me a call.
