I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who sees children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. I am certified both in West Virginia and Ohio as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. I love what I do and think most of us just need that extra care to address mental health and move forward to a life you love. I utilize a lot of motivational interviewing, person centered approach, and addressing distorted thought patterns with cognitive behavioral therapy. I practice holistically addressing the mind, body, and environment.
I see persons from the age of six to 110! My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, panic, OCD, and more. I have been in the nursing field for over 25 years and have a passion for others and the struggles that come along with life's challenges.
My goal is for every person to feel cared for and comfortable when there is a need for medication management and psychotherapy. I have struggled with mental health at times as well as family members. I have been the person dismissed and made to feel alone. I never want anyone to feel that and always want you to feel like someone is in your corner.
