Dr. Solaro is a board certified child and adolescentpsychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience working with children andadolescents in outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment settings. After graduating summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a bachelor'sdegree in education and child development, Dr. Solaro earned her medical degreefrom the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed hergeneral psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, where she served as chief resident.

VirtualPsych allows for telepsych healthcare remotely in an easy to use environment. Our physicians specialize in the treatment of conditions such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder and have over 30 years of experience in psychiatry and mental health. We accept a variety of insurance plans from providers including Aetna, CareSource and United Healthcare. We have appointments available on a daily basis and the time to see a physician is typically less than a few days. David McNair is an Ohio native that earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from Kent State University and master's degree in nursing from Walden University. Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, he has over a decade of clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic mental health care and also serves as an educator for undergraduate nursing. He sees patients ages 6 to 75 and specializes in treating anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and schizophrenia.

Ashley holds a dual board certification as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. She sees children, adolescents, and adults in office as well as through virtual visits. She works to form partnerships with her patients and is passionate about helping individuals and families thrive.

Karen Steffes is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has six years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse and over two years as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her both her master's degree in nursing and her bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Akron. She has worked with patients who range in age from 6-75 in multiple settings including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. She works with both individuals and families to provide medication management and patient education with a goal of achieving optimal mental health.

My philosophy is to treat others as I would want to be treated. It is my moral obligation to provide nonjudgmental care & support as I work in collaboration with my clients. I believe the treatment of psychiatric disorders should be holistic in nature, which may include, utilizing prescription medications, psychotherapy, vitamins, & other supplements. This whole-body approach should also incorporate lifestyle changes & wellness principles, such as- dietary changes, exercise, sleep hygiene, mindfulness, and social connection. I also believe that patient education and engagement is key in the healing process.

Emilia Mba, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across lifespan. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. She follows evidence-based guidelines. She brings a humanistic philosophy of holistic care and she values interdisciplinary collaboration. I am a licensed board certified mental health nurse practioner with a private practice in Dayton, OH. I have over 10 years experience working with behavioral health patients on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

I received my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2018, and I am dually board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by ANCC. My goal is to create a collaborative relationship with you to understand your unique story and provide individualized treatment through evidence-based practices. Anna Popova, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC Anna Popova is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Master Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Akron, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College, is a Licensed Practical Nurse through ATS Institute of Technology, is a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the Ohio Board of Nursing and is ANCC certified as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She treats children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Michele Norman earned her Master's in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing degrees from Case Western Reserve University. Upon graduation, she was board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for 3 years at this point and her clinical practice has been based primarily in outpatient community settings, where she sees patients ranging in age from 6 to 90. Those skills are incorporated in her treatment plans and appointments. Her specializations include PTSD and other trauma related illness, ADHD, depression, anxiety and adjustment/transition issues.

Lajeans will educate and provide awareness to the community to improve mental health outcomes crossing all age groups. Dr. Dass joined LifeStance Health from MetroHealth Medical Center, where he served as Medical Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and serves as assistant professor for the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and served both his general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Dr. Karuvannur (Dr. K) is a Psychiatrist in Ohio who has been practicing since 2018. He is dual board certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry. He trained in adult psychiatry at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY where he served as the education committee representative. He completed his child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Cleveland Clinic where he served as chief fellow. He is a member of the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Ohio Psychiatric Physician’s Association.

Amanda is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner and was a previous trauma nurse of 10+ years. She has a vast array of experience in psychiatric services. Amanda's goal is to provide an empathetic, engaged and client centered service and care for medication management.

Dr. Cynthia Richards is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with more than 25 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, residential and private practice psychiatry working with adults and children. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has a BS in chemistry. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Dakota. She did a transitional residency and general psychiatry residency at the University of South Dakota. She did a residency in child and adolescent psychiatry at Napa State Hospital.

Carly Hamaoui is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio who has been practicing since 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology from Cleveland State University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Walden University, and has her ACM Accreditation as an Accredited Case Manager-RN. Working in mental health has always been Carly's passion and she strives to normalize the importance of prioritizing one's mental health and self-care needs.
