I am a Columbia trained, board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist who specializes in treating various mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessional thoughts, and trauma. I also specialize in treating issues related to major life events or challenges, identity, and general feelings of dissatisfaction in work life or personal relationships.
In addition to working with adults in my practice, I am currently in child and adolescent sub-specialty training at New York Presbyterian (Columbia/Cornell) as well as psychoanalytic training at Columbia’s Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
As a therapist, I primarily use a psychodynamic or “talk therapy” approach, though we can incorporate CBT or DBT skills into your treatment when helpful to you. I work with many trans and nonbinary individuals and am deeply committed to working with all LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals with cultural humility.
I value taking time and working towards understanding you as deeply, accurately, and holistically as possible. After we discuss what has brought you to treatment and any current or past symptoms, we can collaborate together to determine a treatment plan that best fits your needs and goals - this can include medications, psychotherapy, or both.
