My ideal client is someone dealing with mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and/or ADHD. They are looking for more than just a quick fix and want to work on finding lasting relief. They want to regain control over their emotions, thoughts, and actions to function better in their daily life—whether that's in their career, social relationships, or personal achievements.

I am a Board-Certi Psychiatrist. I received my BA with Honors from Brown University and received my Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School. I completed my residency at UCLA where I was selected chief resident for the Anxiety Disorders Program.

As a Psychiatrist, hearing patients out and understanding what symptoms they consider most impairing to them is the most important part of my personal practice. I prefer a collaborative space where both myself and the patient can talk about their conditions in an in depth way, in order to find what specific treatments will work best for them. To me, an ideal patient has good insight into their condition or is willing to develop this through dedication towards treatment.

I am deeply passionate about mental health, particularly when it comes to treating bipolar disorders, trauma, and psychotic conditions. When it comes to working with patients, "curiosity" is my guiding principle. I partner with individuals to dig deep into what's troubling them and work together to set life-affirming treatment goals. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 6 years of mental health experience working in partial hospitalization & intensive outpatient programming for adults, adolescents, and maternal patients, also working in the hospital setting providing mental health consultation & crisis intervention. I entered into psychiatry with the desire to provide effective treatment, education, & options for mental health & healing that include nutrition, therapy, and medication intervention. Nutritional psychiatry is a passion of mine, as I firmly believe that our overall health and well-being is a key element to mental wellness.
