Hello! I've returned to private practice in Bend, this time joining the team at Canyon Behavioral Health. I welcome new adults for psychiatric care who are seeking help with mood issues, anxiety, psychosis, alcohol use, or who are coping with current effects of past trauma. I do not see patients who are primarily seeking help for suspected ADHD.
I have over 13 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner working with adults. Please see our website for more detail on my experience, specialties and interests, and other information that may help you in your decision.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and may integrate brief therapy into our visits. I have enjoyed working with and welcome new patient inquiries from individuals of all backgrounds, including young adults and other medical professionals.
My prescribing tends to be thoughtful, individualized, careful and conservative. Many end up on multiple medications, layered upon one another unnecessarily. This is not how I practice. I have depth of experience in helping patients reduce their medication burden, and I don't hesitate in letting someone know if medication isn't the right option.
