Dr. Welch is a graduate of medical school with five postdoctoral years of formal training in psychiatry, more than the usual, board-certified psychiatrist. He has additional, specialized training in diagnostics and has been asked to testify in a number of high profile court cases in recognition of his training and background. As a medical doctor and psychiatrist who provides sophisticated psychotherapy, Dr. Welch provides the highest level of diagnostic skills and medication expertise to patients who he comes to know quite well.
