We use traditional medication when appropriate, but then also use current research to go beyond the usual 15 psych meds. At Arbor Video Psych, our approach involves looking at root causes rather than only symptoms. Led by Dr. Akash Kumar MD with his multi layered diagnostic approach to assess nutritional, medical, psychiatric, and cognitive dimensions of mental difficulty, we look at underlying, often missed, subtle medical conditions that contribute to emotional difficulty.
