Hello! My name is Dr. Brooke Lawson and I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and owner of Peaceful Minds Psychiatry LLC. I am so excited and honored to partner with Analaigh Counseling and Mediation Services to provide medication management! I have been serving the mental health field since 2022. Prior to my time in mental health, I spent nearly 10 years providing direct inpatient care to neurology and neurosurgery patients.
I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders including Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, perinatal and postpartum mental health, insomnia, and other related conditions. I provide thoughtful, evidence-based pharmacological treatment while incorporating therapeutic approaches to support whole-person care.
I have always had a sincere passion for mental health. I believe in a holistic approach to health care. Medications are used as a tool to assist you with managing symptoms while learning triggers and coping skills to improve your overall life. I want patients to feel heard and seen while working towards healing/recovery.
