I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner who is able to prescribe medication to help with depression, anxiety and other conditions. My ideal client is open to different perspectives and the idea of change and goal setting. They are in a contemplative stage of change and are looking to put effort into their treatment and success. They understand that not all progress is linear and with assistance, guidance, and accountability they will work their way toward the long-term goal by a stepping stone path of reaching short-term goals.
I offer a motivating environment for each client to realistically assess goals, capitalize on achievements, and design a path toward success. I believe that each client deserves individual care and planning as well as being heard in their own terms and words. I offer this and holistic motivation to achieve care.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
