Welcome! I'm Brittany Burkett, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with a strong passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journey. I recently earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kansas, building on a decade-long nursing career that began with my BSN from Wichita State in 2014. With a diverse background in public health, women's health, and bariatrics, I take a holistic approach to mental wellness. My clinical focus is on mood disorders, with a special emphasis on maternal mental health.
My own experience with infertility and IVF has given me a unique perspective on the emotional complexities of reproductive challenges, pregnancy, and postpartum mental health. I understand firsthand the highs and lows that come with these experiences, and I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that meets you where you are.
