My Name is Britney Shipman and I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I treat a variety of mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. I specialize in treating Women's Issues such as postpartum depression, creating a healthy work-life balance, fertility issues, divorce, relationship issues and panic disorders. It is my goal to create holistic and comprehensive treatment plans that focus on achieving wellness and enhancing overall quality of life.
It is my goal to create more balance in the lives of my clients. I assist clients in identifying various stressors and empowering clients with coping skills to help process sand cope.
I utilize various treatment modalities that consist of Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, Supportive, Humanistic, Feminist and Integrative therapy.
I focus on creating a safe and welcoming environment for my clients with a collaborative approach to care. It is my goal to have clients as an active participant in developing comprehensive treatment plans.
