I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner, working predominantly with children/families and young adults in the Hudson Valley. I hold master's degrees from Drexel University and Columbia University. As both a social worker and a nurse, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including inpatient care, family systems/school-based, and outpatient services. The goal of medication treatment is to help reduce symptoms, improve functioning, and enhance your overall well-being. I strive to use the least amount of medication necessary to achieve your desired outcome.
In addition to medication management, I’m trained in various modalities of psychotherapy (focus on CBT/DBT) and often combine both. We will incorporate holistic practices and determine how to bring them into your/your child's daily life in a way that feels comfortable and sustainable for your family.
