My goal is to help patients achieve optimal life functioning and satisfaction in their relationship with themselves and others, at home, work and community. The path to self-knowledge is a wonderful journey that is a privilege to be a part of. I try to not be rigid in my approach, preferring to let the circumstances and reality of the patient inform our work together. My patients are not primarily seeking medication maintenance absent regular psychotherapy, and many are not in need or or requesting medications, though at times some medications may be useful in addition to therapy.

I am Board Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry and use a psychodynamic therapy process to promote personal insight and growth. I have a special interest in workplace issues and functioning and have extensive experience in management related concerns that might impact work satisfaction and functioning.

I am located in downtown Seattle, convenient to many workplaces and public transit. Medication management is only performed for current therapy patients. Forensic assessment requires a referral from a responsible third party and not direct from the patient Feel free to call to discuss your concerns and whether we may be a good fit.
