About
As both a clinical psychologist and a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my practice offers the unique opportunity to receive comprehensive psychological services including diagnostic assessment & evaluation, psychotherapy, psychiatric medication, and psychological testing from one provider. I work from an integrated bio/psycho/social/spiritual framework and tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each patient. I work with individuals from all age groups, and I have specialized training with child and adolescent populations.
I specialize in the integration of psychotherapy and the prudent use of psychiatric medication. I am trained to rule out medical causes of psychiatric symptoms, and I collaborate regularly with primary care providers and facilitate referrals to a variety of healthcare providers, as appropriate.
My educational background includes a Doctor of Psychology degree in clinical psychology from Wright State University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University. I am an Arizona licensed psychologist and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.
