I am highly interested in working with anyone who seeks a stronger sense of well being, stable relationships, and a better understanding of self. I am a board certified psychiatrist with 30+ years of experience in treating depression, autism, mood disorder, and relationship conflicts at UCLA. Over the years, I have treated a vast range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and elders. My therapy is primarily guided by my extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Therapy, as well as Mindfulness-based Therapy. Psychiatric treatments can be a long and arduous journey, and I am here for you!

After thirty years of studying the brain inside and out, I know precisely how to target over-activity or under-activity in the brain to provide my patients with the balance they desire. I do this by addressing underlying issues like sleep and hormonal issues before using pharmaceutical or nutraceutical interventions.

Nobody is immune or exempt from stress or blind spots that prevent you from experiencing a joie de vivre (joy of living); even therapists are vulnerable. I fully understand the same universal truths and core values, i.e. wanting to belong, feel loved and deserving, and to care about others, and I am here to help you become the best person you can be.
