I am a board certified, licensed psychiatrist trained to treat adults and older adolescents with all psychiatric issues ranging from depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy, mood disturbances, substance abuse, sleeping difficulties, attention problems, relationship issues and work stress. I work in private practice and several psychiatric emergency rooms across NYC.

I provide psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive treatment which may include psychotherapy, cognitive and behavioral therapy, and when necessary medications. I try to use medications sparingly and stop or reduce them when appropriate.
