My goal as a PMHNP is to help patients achieve their highest potential at a comfortable pace, focusing on one issue at a time. My aim is to enhance my client's self-esteem and empower them without fostering perfectionism.
I like to incorporate innovative modalities, I certified in biological decoding. I also do spirituality, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, into my practice, to help the medication work faster. Always with the focus on CBT, and other therapies approved by insurance, at this moment I am working on my DBT certification.
I am pretty convenient for patients that want therapy and medication at the same time, or only medication, if you already have a therapist. However, if you are mandated by court to be in therapy, it needs to be provided by a licensed therapist, such as an LCSW, LMFT, or clinical psychologist. I speak perfect Spanish, and I have my latin accent in English!
