My journey into mental healthcare was shaped by both professional and personal experiences. As a family nurse practitioner, I cared for chronically ill patients who also faced anxiety and depression, deepening my understanding of the connection between physical and mental well-being. Witnessing firsthand how mental health conditions impact families, I became passionate about reducing stigma, educating patients, and providing evidence-based care. Now, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I take a patient-centered approach to treatment, ensuring each care plan is as unique as the person it’s designed for.....

With a well-rounded perspective on patient care, I focus treatment not only on addressing symptoms but also promoting long-term well-being by blending medication management with lifestyle adjustments. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia, working closely with older adults, veterans, and those managing illnesses.

To unwind, I read, explore the outdoors, put on car concerts, and spend time with my grandchildren and two large, lovable dogs. I believe that — just like learning to cook, which I’m still working on — mental health is something we can all strengthen over time with patience, practice, and the right guidance.
