My philosophy and the way of treating patients is to let them know from the beginning that I am just another person in the world, just like they are. Nothing makes me invincible to any mental health disorder (anxiety, depression, OCD, etc.) When we start talking about treatment plans and medications are involved versus going all natural treatment (which I have resources to share with others for this as well). Either way, the patient ultimately chooses their treatment plans and goals with me. My slogan for my business and has been for my life for a very long time is this: "No one is PERFECT; however we are ALL perfectly imperfect!"
