Dr Borhan Darmal, MD is a psychiatrist who is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology a chapter of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Darmal was raised in Hawaii and received his undergraduate degree from San Diego state university. He earned his medical degree from St George’s university school of medicine. He completed his psychiatric residency at Lewisgale medical center in southwest Virginia, where he became interested in incorporating spirituality into the biopsychosocial model. Dr. Darmal aims to provide patients the highest level of care.
As a physician who has specialized training in psychiatry, I am able to prescribe medications and perform psychotherapy.
