Dr. Applewhite earned her M.D. at St. Louis University School of Medicine in 2009. Dr. Applewhite completed her Psychiatry residency at Washington University School of Medicine in 2013.
Bonnie Applewhite, M.D. provides culturally competent care for patients of all nationalities. Dr. Applewhite is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She has expertise treating neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's Disease. She has researched medications for use in Parkinson's and wrote a book chapter on movement disorders.
