If you are looking for an integrative approach to mental healthcare, consider booking an appointment with us. I am a board-certified psychiatrist and director of the Center for Green Psychiatry. Our practice takes an evidence-based approach to holistic health. We prescribe medications and recommend talk-therapy, however, we are not aggressive in our prescribing practices and are mindful of potential medication side effects. We champion a recovery model, and many of our patients after a period of successful treatment no longer need to see us. I am licensed in Texas and California and can see patients via telemedicine in both states.
I have formal training in both general psychiatry and integrative medicine. I trained at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin and completed a fellowship at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM).
I am credentialed with some Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance plans. If you are wanting to work with me, have a health insurance I do not accept, and cannot afford our private pay fees, please discuss a sliding scale option with my office.
