About
I am a board certified Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. After completing my medical school education, I achieved a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Arcadia University. I completed my adult psychiatry residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. During my training at AEMC, I was awarded the prestigious national Distinguished Laughlin Fellow Merit Award for professional achievement and scholarship. I completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Health system - St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan where I also served as a Chief Fellow.
I provide diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. My belief that a person is much more than a diagnosis allows me to help my patients reach their optimal personal and professional goals. I help my patients strive for happiness, joy, and fulfillment in their lives.
I specialize in treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children, adolescents and adults. I use evidence-based treatment approaches including psychotherapy and medications when needed. I have a special interest in working with older adolescents and young adults.
