Hi! I'm a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner based in Texas. I have been practicing as PMHNP for 2 years. I see patients who are 18 and older for their mental health concerns such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and ADHD.
I do a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis, medication management, and evaluate treatment results. Follow-up visits are necessary for further evaluation and augmenting treatments safely. My treatment plan may include medication adjustment and lifestyle changes, lab tests to rule out medical causes, and medication monitoring.
My philosophy of care is to show compassion, empathy, and patience while providing holistic care to my clients. I provide a supportive and safe environment for my clients to discuss their concerns. I want them to trust the process and it will take 4-6 weeks to see the progress and a positive outcome during mental health treatment.
