Beth Hawkins, RN, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. For the last 15 years Beth has been a practicing NP specializing in cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital and was inspired to obtain a second master's degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst in advanced practice mental health nursing upon noting the lack of access to pediatric psychiatric professionals with the expertise to support the mental health needs of her cardiac patients.
Beth works with individuals across the lifespan but specializes in treating children and adolescents struggling with a multitude of psychiatric illnesses including but not limited to: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD/Trauma, Mood Disorders, OCD, and Autism. She offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, medication consultation and ongoing med management.
In addition to providing clients with diagnostic and medication information Beth partners with therapists, teachers/schools, primary care providers and other practitioners to ensure a holistic approach when developing a plan of care for her clients. Beth believes in a non-judgemental, sensitive and caring approach to mental health treatment.
