I am a board certified nurse practitioner focused in family psychiatric mental health. I have been practicing at a VA outpatient clinic for the last five plus years, treating adults with a wide spectrum of personal conditions and mental health diagnoses, including PTSD of various origins, nightmares, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger management, schizophrenia, dementia, substance abuse, other addictions, personality disorders, LGBTQ issues, insomnia, weight loss, pain, poor concentration, suicidal/homicidal ideations, self harm and TBI. I graduated from the University of Akron's Masters and Bachelors of Science in Nursing program in 2016. I got my start in nursing with my Associates of Applied Sciences in Nursing from Stark State College and worked my way up from there. I am married with two adult children, four dogs and one cat.
I believe that it is the little things that make a life blessed but that we tend to overlook these moments and focus on the negatives instead.
