About
I understand that making decisions about psychiatric medications is difficult, especially when there are so many factors to consider. Medications can facilitate emotional healing, but their limitations must be recognized. When prescribing, it is my goal to understand your priorities and collaborate with you in an effort to find a medication that is beneficial with minimal or no side effects. Genetic testing is available for those who would like to know more about how they metabolize medications.
Psychological patterns can also contribute to emotional distress. I believe that past experiences often shape our understanding of current events and exploration of one's personal history serves an important role in restoring wellbeing. Therapy is an option for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their thoughts and behaviors.
