As a board certified psychiatrist with more than 15 years experience, I've treated many patients from all walks of life. My practice style is to listen closely and offer medications to reduce symptoms in conjunction with therapy. Every patient is different and therefore needs to be treated as such. I have the ability to treat most diagnoses. I am actively looking to help patients with tardive dyskinesia (abnormal movements) or psychotic illness that may benefit from long-acting injectables.
Psychiatry has made significant advances in the medication options that are available. So if you have been discouraged with options in the past, you might be surprised to know there are more options out there, including gene testing and long acting injectables.
