I'm interested in a person's priorities, what engages them in life, and how they want to get there. I take a whole-person, root cause approach that delivers enhanced resilience and renewed feelings of wellbeing beyond "good enough”. I strive for truly well, without side effects. Integrative psychiatry offers solutions to support the complexity and sustained recovery of mood, anxiety, trauma, cognition/ADHD, and sleep-related challenges, including "treatment resistance," which may simply indicate the correct diagnosis has not been found, a biological clue has been missed, or a treatment strategy is not optimal.
In addition to state-of-the-art drug-based therapies (including ketamine and non-traditional approaches), I provide supplement and nutrition strategies, aided by laboratory studies and genetic testing where helpful. Functional medicine, rTMS, and specialty psychotherapies through partnerships with my talented colleagues may be part of your treatment plan.
I keep up-to-date through research, consulting, teaching, and writing for publication, plus the experience of treating thousands of individuals. I offer convenient hours, good communication, and integration of care with family, friends, and specialists.
