Dr. Shahsavar is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both General as well as Addiction psychiatry. Dr. Shahsavar completed his psychiatry residency training at the Department of Mental Health, St. Elizabeths hospital in Washington, DC. He also completed an addiction fellowship at Yale University, School of Medicine. Presently, He is in private practice in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to starting his private practice, Dr. Shahsavar was working at Sheppard Pratt Hospital in Towson, MD where he continues to have the hospital Privilage.
