My practice name is Mythos Behavioral Health because "mythos" is the Greek word meaning "a set of stories relevant to or having a significant truth or meaning" or "A recurring theme". My ideal client is one who is open to sharing their story as part of the healing process. By understanding how you got to where you are, we can move forward to where you want to be. This applies to all people regardless of age, sex, or diagnosis.

As a board certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions for children, adolescents and adults in my practice. My specialties include Anxiety, Stress, Depression, OCD, PTSD, Binge/Emotional Eating, Insomnia, and holistic, non-stimulant ADHD treatment, although I'm proficient in general psychiatry and many other conditions as well. I offer services for the entire family to help to repair interpersonal relationship, provide life coaching and guidance though both medication management and therapy approach combined on-demand and tailored specifically for individual patient needs. I offer services for young children who don't qualify for medication management through play therapy starting from 4 years of age. I like to raise awareness for mental health issues and break the stigma because it’s “ok not to be ok”. Psychological problems can affect anyone and when one family member has a mental health problem like “anxiety” or a “mood disorder”, it affects everyone.
