I’m a double board certified child & adult psychiatrist. I work with two age groups: 3 to 17-year-olds with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, autism, & OCD. I’m LGB, Trans, Non-Binary & Genderqueer affirming with related training & experience. I also see 18 to 32-year-olds who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), autistic or LGBTQIA2S+, especially gender diverse folks. I can do assessments for gender affirming surgery. I’ve limited my adult intakes to improve access to care for marginalized populations due to a shortage of psychiatrists trained in providing affirming care.
We'll make decisions as a team, and I'll work closely with your other doctors, schools, therapists, and anyone else you want involved in your/your child's care. I'll make sure you understand all the options to make the best decision for you/your child. Initial evaluations are 2 hours and scheduled as two 1-hour sessions. Follow-ups are usually 30 minutes.
I take the time to listen to your concerns and learn about your life and experiences in an affirming and judgment-free zone so we can build a strong, positive, and collaborative relationship. I make it easy to reach me between appointments. Please click the website link and complete the New Patient Inquiry form to get started.

Working with me will be collaborative. I'll give you as much agency as possible. If you'd prefer that I make more of the decisions, I can do that. Expect me to provide very gender and neurodiversity affirming care, including with late-diagnosed autistic folks. You'll benefit from my extensive clinical training - 2 years focused on just children & adolescents and 4 focused more on adults.
