I prefer to begin with a rigorous initial evaluation and avoid cursory appointments. While I generally believe psychiatric medications can offer benefit in defined situations, I also attempt to avoid over-medicalization and use pharmacological treatment judiciously. My approach is always collaborative and without coercion.
