During our first visits we will get to know each other and talk about why you came in. We will start to determine your personal goals and the different treatment options available to you. I see patients in my private office, in a nonthreatening environment, with complete confidentiality. I am a double board certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist in New York. To accomplish this, I approach my patients with warmth and empathic curiosity and utilize integrated and holistic methods of treatment. Dr. Lopez is also an adult psychotherapist with years of training in the most in-depth psychotherapies. He provides interventions that have clear results. A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), he has taught at Cornell and Columbia specialized programs for more than 15 years. Dr. Marken is a Columbia- and Cornell-trained, board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist. He was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and is now on faculty at New York University. Dr. Marken predominantly provides psychotherapy and/or medication management. He has a patient-centered approach that provides thorough and individualized care for your particular needs. As a physician, Dr. Marken focuses on the interaction between the biological, the psychological, and the environmental contributors to mental health. He is a member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry and works with athletes at all levels.
