Dr. Ashok Yerramsetti is board-certified in general psychiatry and board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Yerramsetti pursued a career in mental health care after noticing the need for it in patients during medical school rotations. He works with individuals of all ages and emphasizes early diagnosis of lifelong conditions such as bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Yerramsetti wants patients and families to fully understand their diagnosis and how medication management can be used as a tool to improve their quality of life.
He can complete bariatric surgery evaluations and gender-confirmation surgery evaluations. Dr. Yerramsetti believes the best clinicians are those who promote their patients' mental and physical health. He completed his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Yerramsetti has two “out-of-this-world" cats, Chewie and Galileo, who share his enjoyment of Star Wars.
