I bring a pretty unique toolkit to our sessions. With graduate degrees in both psychiatric nursing and counseling, I am fully equipped to handle both sides of the mental health coin: medication management and therapeutic support. I have extensive experience working with children from all walks of life, including those navigating the foster care system. Yes, I work with grown-ups too! Many patients are terrified of psychiatric medication because they fear being "zombified" or handed a prescription after a 10-minute chat. Because of my counseling background, I use medication as a tool to support healing, not as a quick fix to mask symptoms. I offer patients a safe space to discuss side effects, fears, and goals.
I believe mental health care should be collaborative, easy to understand, and completely judgment-free. My biggest priority is ensuring that you feel truly heard and listened to.
