I am a board-certified psychiatrist working with children, teens, and adults. I help patients understand how emotional struggles develop in the context of their lives, relationships, and inner experiences.
Trained in psychiatry and psychodynamically informed therapy, I combine medication and psychotherapy when it’s most helpful. Together, we explore patterns, uncover the meaning behind symptoms, and develop more flexible ways of coping and relating to others.
I completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, serving as Chief Resident, and trained in adult psychiatry at Boston Medical Center / Boston University School of Medicine. I graduated magna cum laude from New York University.
I offer evaluations, therapy with medication management, second opinions, and select medication-management-only cases. My clinical work and research inform a thoughtful, collaborative approach that uses medication realistically to support each patient’s goals.
