I am a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. I've been in private practice in OH and KY for many years. My primary clinical focus is the treatment of ADHD, Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety and Depression. My primary goal as a physician is to work with patients to establish and implement the treatment plan that best suits them and their families. I am proud to treat my patients who started as patients when they were children, who now also bring their children to me for treatment.
My work is a combination of Medication Management and psychotherapy. For children and teens, an intensive 3 part assessment is conducted with myself, the parents, and my psychotherapist. Adults have a similar intake involving a 2 step process. I offer the medication management, and work closely with my on staff therapists to provide the best care.
I meet with patients on a monthly basis to conduct medication management and supportive therapy. It is very important to me that my patients are an active part of their own treatment, I provide psycho education on the disorders and medications we are working with. I explain the pros and cons of each treatment, and we work together to decide how to proceed.
