Understandably, disorganization, lack of focus and procrastination often lead to underachievement and low self-esteem. As an Adult, Adolescent & Child Psychiatrist and seasoned Psychotherapist, I know how to help people suffering from being misunderstood and judged. A thorough evaluation including the identification of what you are suffering from as well as the assessment of your specific strengths, skills, resources and abilities, will define all together a goal-oriented treatment plan with or without medication prescription.
Everyone is unique and there is no single approach that is best for every person. Prescribing medications is only one of the many option treatments I offer. Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) ideally fits Psychopharmacology. It is a respectful "client-centered" approach that focuses on your present situation to allow you to design your own better future.
While the past is important to addressed during the therapy process, it can't be changed. With my Solution Focused Approach, I will help you gain the necessary confidence and optimism to move-on quickly into the next chapter of your life. I also know how to help parents at loss when their young grown-up has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
