I know this is a difficult step to see a counselor. But try to forget the stigma. Everyone needs help now and then and it takes courage to reach out and connect. It's wired in you to need others during difficult times, and sometimes it's too much for a friend or a spouse to sort through things with you. I work with you to set practical goals, work toward them, and when you've reached them you can either wrap up your sessions with me, or set new goals. We only do what feels safe and right for you. As a US Air Force veteran, I also have experience working with active duty service members and veterans to meet their mental health care needs.

I am a humanistic provider who listens to your concerns, collaborates with you to create a treatment plan that will work with you and for you, and a psychopharmacologist who can explain in simple language how different medication classes work. We will go low and slow and make one modification at a time to ensure we tailor an effective plan.

I am a board certified psychiatrist currently accepting new patients. My practice is strictly through the use of telepsychiatry which means that all appointments will be held via HIPAA compliant video conferencing software. Many patients prefer this means of treatment as appointments can be done from the comfort of your home or office without the need for lengthy commutes or waiting rooms and it provides access to mental health treatment to patients located in more remote locations. I treat adult (18+) patients located in Colorado, Texas and Washington State though controlled substance prescribing may only be done in Colorado.
