I am a Psychiatric Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, for over 20 years. I have specialized in crisis intervention, brief interventional counseling, with particular emphasis on Mood Disorders, and medication management. My approach to care is through use of psychotherapy, motivational interviewing and holistic therapies. Of course, therapy will always be a partnership with you choosing the direction of your care. In all of our lives, there are times of stress, which produces anxiety and sometimes depression, and the most effective form of help is through professional intervention in a secure and private environment.
I have worked in mental health for many years and have experience with an array of emotional issues. I have worked in both a hospital setting and in private practice for all of these years.
