As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and clinical professional counselor, I use a biopsychosocial approach to provide comprehensive services that meet patients' complex needs. I use a teamwork approach with patients, and I believe that building supportive relationships is of utmost importance. I value straightforward communication and provide patients with clear information and options. Although patients often find medication useful in managing their symptoms, I also help patients make other positive changes in their lives to improve their wellness. I want all patients to experience genuine care and interest from me.
I have 31 years of experience providing mental health services and have clinical expertise and interest in depressive and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. For patients working toward making changes in their substance use, I provide medication options along with harm reduction counseling.
